 Now we know why things have been so quiet in Calabasas ... turns out, Justin Bieber's been on vacation with his pal Lil Za in the Bahamas... where they splashed around with an entire shiver of sharks and TMZ has the pics. 

Fun Fact -- a group of sharks is called a "shiver" ... like a "murder" of crows or a "pod" of whales. Weird, right? 

Anyway, Bieb and Za stripped down to their swim suits (Za appeared to be in his undies) and played in the turquoise water at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club ... where they hung out with some local Nurse sharks. 

Don't worry ... there was no real danger -- while Nurse sharks can grow up to 14ft and weigh over 700 lbs, they generally don't attack humans ...

Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson were united in song over the weekend when a recording of Mr. Bieber singing along with vocals previously recorded by Mr. Jackson surfaced online, provoking a hailstorm of news reports and stoking a great deal of fan interest on social media. The track, “Slave 2 the Rhythm,” also was played on British radio, The Guardian reported.

On Friday and Saturday, Mr. Bieber posted somewhat cryptic messages about Mr. Jackson to his Twitter account, but did not refer directly to the song. On Friday, he wrote: “Excited for what is to come. M.J. set the bar. Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how you treat the fans. Wish he was here …” He also posted a photograph pairing himself with an image of Mr. Jackson.

On Monday, however, YouTube videos and SoundCloud posts including the song were taken down. A notice on YouTube said that the video “is no longer available due to a copyright claim by S.M.E.” Sony Music Entertainmentowns Mr. Jackson’s recordings. In 2012, Sony reported that some of Mr. Jackson’s recordings had been stolen from its Web site. Sony did not respond to a request for comment on Monday.

He is quoted by In Touch Weekly magazine as saying: ''I can't wait to have a beautiful wife and little kids running around, but those things are in God's hands, not mine.''
The 'Beauty And A Beat' hitmaker has been accused of going off the rails after a spate of recent incidents including allegedly spitting on fans from a balcony and reports of being involved in a club brawl, but he insists his mother Pattie Mallette taught him how to be a gentleman around women.
He explained: ''I'm not going to lie. It's fun to be young, fall in love and be in love. My mum taught me how to treat a woman right, so I enjoy taking a girl out and doing nice things for her.''
He added: ''Everyone deserves to feel like they are the most special person in the world.''
However, the teenage heartthrob - who was rumoured to be dating model Ashley Moore after he was spotted enjoying a cosy lunch with her last week - wishes people would stop obsessing over his love life and start putting their energy into his talent.

Bieber's 200th wish occurred during his last stop on the Believe Tour at Atlanta's Philips Arena when he met 8-year-old Annalysha. Justin Bieber Adding a Rose Tattoo to his Body Art Collection

Justin Bieber debuted his new tattoo after appearing on stage for a concert at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on Thursday night.

According to reports, Justin was staying at the Bang Bang tattoo parlor in NYC for four hours as a tattooist worked to complete the huge rosebud ink on his left arm.

He was later snapped leaving the parlor, stopping to pose with some waiting fans.

Justin also took to Instagram to share images of his new design, accompanying the pic with the simple caption: “Art.”

He has now brought his total collection of inkings up to 17 with a new rose motif.

"Justin stayed in most of the night [on July 31] and had three Spanish ladies brought up to his hotel room by friends. Then, three more women were brought in later."

The night before, Biebsy reportedly tried to score the fun with a girl he met at da club, as the lady in question confesses:

"Justin was surrounded by blondes. He flirted with me all night. He was tweeting up a storm while he was there and he even posted a smiley face and showed it to me. Then he asked me for my number, but I didn’t know what his situation was with Selena and he’s several years younger than me [she's 26] so I didn't. He was really surprised when I said no and he said, 'don’t you want to hang out at the after party?' But it was already 2am! I just looked at him and said no, laughed and then left with my friends. He seemed totally sober but he was flirting with girls all night. He definitely seemed single."
