Here are some facts about girl’s puberty : Starting at around age 9, girls begin to gain about 17% to 18% of their adult height. Most girls grow fastest about six months before they start their first period (menarche).
On average, boys begin going through puberty a little later than girls, usually around age 11 or 12.
